Chalcedony is a milky, translucent variety of quartz with a waxy luster. It's found all over the world in an array of colors including blue, red, yellow, purple, pink, green, gray + white depending on the trace minerals in the stone. In general, Chalcedony is a nurturing, balancing + harmonizing stone, however the energetic signature is influenced by the mineral inclusions. It's chemical composition is SiO₂, the same as Jasper, Agate + Quartz and is often found growing in combination with these stones.
