I know what it feels like to have pimples and irritated skin. I lived with red, sensitive, acne prone skin for most of my teenage and young adult life. And I know what a struggle it can be trying to find the right products for your skin.
Believe me girl, I get you. I know how it feels because I've sooooo been there.
In my quest to heal my acne and find products that worked well for my skin, I've tried everything I could think of. I've bought loads of skincare products over the years, some natural and some 100% not natural products from the drugstore and supermarket including pore cleansing glue strips, funny brightly colored scrubbers, several different types of odd shaped sponges, weird tools, and I even tried a few wacko tips from random blogs like using toothpaste as a spot treatment - lol! Please don't try that at home!
I was desperate, so I tried everything.

I've spent $100's of dollars on high end department store products which only exacerbated my skin issues and left me feeling truly about as hopeless as I've ever felt...
And an empty bank account, meh. BUT... Looking back, I wouldn't change any of it!
BECAUSE all of these woes gave me the inspiration and motivation to create my own line of truly natural and effective skincare products that have helped so many people find out what it feels like to have "happy skin."

These real life experiences led me to develop our 3 Step Skincare Routine which is the foundation for a natural skincare ritual that can help you reduce acne breakouts, calm sensitive skin, and truly care for all skin types.
These three products healed my sensitive red skin and gave me the freedom, for the first time in my adult life, to feel like I didn't need makeup to cover up the redness. These products literally changed my life, and I know they can help you too.

Our 3 Step approach can help you heal your breakouts by taking your skincare routine back to the basics, with an easy am/pm system to follow for success.

Cleanse, Tone + Moisturize
Following our 3-Step System of Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize twice per day gives your skin the stable, nurturing foundation it needs to find a healthy balance naturally.
- Step 1 - Super Detox Cleanser
- Step 2 - Grace Antioxidant Toner
- Step 3 - Chamomile Exquisite Cream
If your skin is totally out of whack, inflamed, overly sensitive, or broken out we recommend following these 3 simple steps twice daily for a week or two. Refrain from using other facial products during this time except our Blemish Soother Acne Spot Treatment on pimples. Once your skin has calmed down and found a natural balance, you can slowly begin to add other products into your skincare routine one by one.
If possible, or as much as possible during the first 1-2 weeks while your skin resets, try not to use makeup and sunscreen. Both makeup and sunscreen can clog pores and aggravate acne and sensitive skin conditions. If you're going to to be out in the sun, you'll most likely need sunscreen. Just do your best and pay attention to how your skin reacts, and remove it as soon as you are out of the sun.
Once your skin normalizes and resets, you can add in other products slowly so you're able to figure out if you are sensitive/reactive to a specific product so you can eliminate that irritant from your routine.
From the 3 step foundation, you can supplement your skincare routine with a seasonal and/or skin-type specific serum 1-2 times daily. Add a facial mask 1-2 times per week to complete your customized ritual for healthy, glowing skin.
Within the first week you will see and feel your skin begin to reset, as it's nurtured by nature, back into balance.
We recommend you start with the Super Detox Charcoal Cleanser for your am/pm cleanse. Wet your face with warm water and use your fingertips to massage a quarter sized amount into your skin. We suggest that you take a little extra time for your facial care routine and turn off the water. Give your face a gentle massage making little circles with your fingertips, concentrating on areas of blackheads and congestion.
Facial massage is beneficial for healthy lymph flow which reduces puffiness and inflammation, aids in oxygenation and detoxification of your skin cells. After massaging your face with the cleanser for a few minutes, rinse well with warm water and pat dry.
You can use the Luscious Oil Cleanser to remove makeup, but be really careful and gentle around any active pimples. Luscious will melt the makeup off as you wipe with a soft steamy cloth, so no need for scrubbing. Saying a simple mantra while you do your daily skincare ritual such as "I take good care of my skin" helps positively reinforce this time as a sacred, loving act of self care.
Follow your cleanser with a light misting of the Grace Antioxidant Toner which is excellent for all skin types including sensitive and acne prone. Lightly mist your skin before applying your moisturizer and serum, and as desired throughout the day.
You will find that your skin drinks in the mist, and the extra moisture aids the spread and absorption of your products, allowing you to use just the right amount.
Think of antioxidants as multi-vitamins for your skin, adding that supplemental boost to help heal and fade acne scars more quickly.
The Chamomile Exquisite Cream is the ideal facial moisturizer to help your skin reset because it's ultra-calming, rich in antioxidant skinfood vitamins and nutrients, and provides rich, nurturing moisture that soaks right in, leaving your skin with a lovely, dewy glow.
Even if your skin is on the oily side, you still need moisturizer. Just use a little bit, and allow the mist from the toner to help you apply it evenly without tugging your delicate facial skin. Not using moisturizer actually aggravates oily skin, causing your sebaceous glands to overreact and over-produce oil.
This type of oil imbalance is often accompanied with redness, irritation, generally unhappy skin, along with an increased likelihood of clogged pores and breakouts. Read our blog on how to care for oily skin HERE.
If you have active pimples use the Blemish Soother Spot Treatment as an added 4th step. You can use the Soother at all stages of the pimple's formation and healing cycle, up to several times a day, and especially before bed.
If I have an epic pimple I will apply it almost every time I go into the bathroom. At home that's easy, but you probably don't want to do that at work or if you're going out in public:)
